S ENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER THE ROLE

AMD is looking for a s enior software engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for S oftware engineering development , and is diligent and passionate about Technology . A successful candidate will need to employ strong knowledge in computer technologies, leadership skills in technical areas, and SW engineering expertise as well as a strong ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, relevant environment while working with different teams of engineers and collaborators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and drive execution of comprehensive, highly effective software for sophisticated new technology and new product introduction projects Responsible for verification and Validation of new SW features around AIE Engine of Versal devices / NPU in client devices, before releasing them to customers
• Ability to understand complex systems consisting of DSP/ML intensive algorithms Actively explores innovative methods for verification and validation of these platform designs using automated infrastructure and reduced/smaller designs
• Uses the product as a customer would to understand strengths and areas for improvement.

Performs advanced interactive testing and can assist with defining quality metrics Collaborate closely with multiple teams and Project Managers to drive high quality software releases PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years of relavent experience Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C, C++ with deep understanding of object-oriented-design principles Experience working on GPU and/or SIMD and VLIW processor architectures.

Good understanding of A I-ML based compiler tools chain and experience in graph programming model, graph optimization techniques will be a plus Fluent in Python/Shell script or equivalent languages Good analysis and debug skills in either software or hardwar ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline #LI-NR1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
