The role gives opportunity to participate in local, regional and global projects and that is why we are seeking a proactive, flexible individual with a “can do” approach. As a dedicated Senior Specialist, you will serve as a support to your manager and advisor to your colleagues and clients. Please note that this position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract. ### Key Responsibilities - Assist the team in the preparation of the quarterly Consolidated Financial Statements under IFRS and other GAAP’s - Assist in the preparation of audit and Internal - Control over Financial Reporting backup and supporting documents - Analyse and review the consolidated data and the different consolidation processes (IFRS, actual, simulation versions etc.) - Support the team in improving and automating the consolidation processes Handling of ad hoc requests Candidate’s profile: University degree - finance and accounting (an asset) Proficient English language speaker is a must At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience (General Ledger) Practical accounting experience in GL, reporting, data analysis area Analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” approach, goals driven, flexibility Problem solving skills and independent SAP knowledge is a plus Excel knowledge – advanced Power Query and Power BI knowledge is a plus We offer: Real life opportunities to develop and grow with us and contribute to the world around us Competitive salaries, language allowance and an employee benefits package that includes among others medical insurance, life insurance and sport-card Annual bonus depending on company annual results and individual performance Wide range of learning programs and personal development opportunities including also possibility to apply for up to 80% of educational trainings reimbursement Referral awards Online fitness trainings Hybrid Work Nice and Friendly atmosphere Who we are: Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) is a leading multi-line insurer serving people and businesses in more than 200 countries and territories. This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
