You will work directly alongside engineers and product managers to translate regulatory obligations into product decisions that are scalable, defensible and globally consistent. Your mission Keeping pace with how money moves. As Wise expands into new markets, corridors, and payment schemes, the rules governing how transfers are processed, and who can send them, become increasingly complex. You will own the compliance strategy for core product flows that determine customer eligibility: how we verify where customers live, how we handle customers who move between countries, and how we allocate customers to the right licensed entity. These aren't abstract compliance questions, they manifest directly in product screens, data models, and engineering decisions. You will need to go deep quickly, surface the "so what," and drive alignment between legal, product, and engineering teams across multiple markets.
