Who will you be working with? Our best-in-class Engineering team combines knowledge of customers’ needs with deep domain expertise and tenured experience to deliver our door/HVAC/PD&G products. How will you make a difference? As a member of the PD&G (Platform Screen Door) team, you will participate in all technical design phase, installation and communication with customers of PD&G projects. What do we want to know about you? Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering; At least 6 years’ working experience in the mechanical design. Working experience in curtain wall or structure calculation could be advantageous. Strong capability of complex calculation of material strength. Experienced user in Creo is a must. FEA calculation experience can be a plus BIM experience can be a plus What will your typical day look like? General and detail design (Design 3D,2D, FEA, drawing control); Follow validation on prototype and report In charge of all civil interface document, drawing, customer analysis, installation methodology and site set up Project design issues following up, trouble shooting, solving problems and documentation; Project requirements follow up (Traceability matrix, standard, etc…) - Support other department on Engineering topics - Participate in design rules performance (LCC, Rex, templates,…) - Participate and be a source of proposal for R&D & design for cost You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. ### Our Commitment to Embrace Diversity Wabtec is a global company that invests not just in our products, but also our people by embracing diversity and inclusion.
