The ideal candidate will have deep experience in managing two or more indirect categories e.g. HR, IT, Marketing, MRO, Professional Services, Real Estate & Facilities, Transportation & Logistics, T&E & Fleet. The candidate will develop and implement sourcing strategies to capture budget savings or cost reductions, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. This is not a direct materials procurement role. To encourage collaboration and productivity, employees are required to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday (based on current policy). ### Responsibilities - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for a broad range of indirect services and goods - Pursue opportunities for significant OpEx and CapEx cost reductions and budget savings - Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms - Manage supplier relationships to ensure that they meet or exceed performance expectations - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with business objectives - Manage and report monthly on savings ### KPIs to Executives - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement or sourcing Experience in change and continuous process improvement Flexible to manage and support new categories - Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and must be a self-starter - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts module Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
