## Job description

### Job Title

Team Leader – Financial Shared Services (FSS)

### Location

Indore Department: Finance / Shared Services Reporting To: Assistant Manager / Manager – FSS Role Overview: The Team Leader – Financial Shared Services will be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient execution of financial processes. This role requires strong leadership, process knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a shared services environment.

### Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team handling core finance processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards across all financial operations.
- Monitor daily operations and resolve process-related issues to maintain service quality.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and approve transactions, reports, and reconciliations prepared by the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and transitions.

### Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

### Preferred Attributes
- Experience in a shared services or BPO environment.
- Exposure to global finance operations and multi-country processes.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX or internal audit controls.
