Collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional partners, you will develop and implement advanced analytical models and prototypes to address complex challenges. This role requires guiding project execution, managing risks, and fostering continuous improvement while mentoring team members. Your expertise will support business objectives by translating data into actionable recommendations, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals to enhance overall performance and value creation. ### About the team Join Walmart eCommerce’s Advanced Analytics team, where innovation shapes the future of global online retail. This team collaborates with leadership and cross-functional partners to develop data-driven solutions impacting millions daily. Focused on advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence, the team delivers actionable insights supporting strategic initiatives. Members work together to build and implement cutting-edge models and prototypes, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. As part of Walmart Marketplace, the team plays a key role in accelerating growth and advancing retail experiences through data and technology. ### What you'll do Collaborate with leadership and business partners to identify analytics objectives and develop research plans addressing key business challenges. Lead and mentor a team to execute advanced analytics projects, providing coaching and performance feedback. Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and prototypes to drive actionable business insights and value. Manage end-to-end project workstreams, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with strategic goals. Present data-driven recommendations to inform functional initiatives and support decision-making. Foster strong partnerships across cross-functional teams to deliver consultative analytics solutions. Oversee data analysis strategies and guide less experienced team members in execution. ### What you'll bring Proven experience leading advanced analytics projects and developing data models to drive business results. Strong expertise in data-driven decision making and applying analytics to solve complex business challenges. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau and experience managing analytics workstreams end-to-end. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills to build partnerships across functions and influence strategic initiatives. Solid project and risk management capabilities to ensure successful implementation of analytics solutions. Commitment to accountability, continuous improvement, and delivering actionable insights that support business objectives. The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
