This role manages laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting, while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the manager provides technical expertise, analyzes test data, and delivers accurate reporting to support business objectives. The position also involves supervising and developing laboratory staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining rigorous quality control to uphold organizational standards and operational excellence. ### About the team The Quality Assurance team leads supplier quality management by implementing rigorous protocols and continuous improvement processes. They collaborate with suppliers to validate product performance before production, driving quality initiatives and managing corrective and preventive actions. The team ensures manufacturing processes meet high standards through strong leadership and effective communication. They assess supplier performance, provide actionable feedback, and support process enhancements. Committed to maintaining product quality and operational excellence, the team fosters accountability and consistent delivery aligned with Walmart’s dedication to customer satisfaction and operational integrity. ### What you'll do Conduct and oversee physical, mechanical, and performance testing using standardized methods to ensure product compliance and reliability. Analyze test data and prepare detailed, traceable reports for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring calibration schedules are met and equipment performance is verified. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Develop and maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and quality reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with business objectives. Provide technical guidance on testing protocols and quality standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing accuracy and operational efficiency. ### What you'll bring Proven expertise in testing methodology, quality control, and verification and validation processes. Strong project management skills to coordinate laboratory activities and ensure timely completion of assignments. Ability to analyze test data accurately and prepare detailed, traceable reports for stakeholders. Experience maintaining laboratory instruments and ensuring compliance with calibration and safety protocols. Skilled in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing preventative maintenance measures. Effective communication skills to provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
