This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product setup, effective promotional execution, and optimized customer experiences across channels. Utilizing data analysis and business insights, the Associate Merchant contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and assortment planning to meet financial targets. The position requires strong vendor relationship management and strategic thinking to drive category performance while maintaining compliance with company policies and fostering collaborative partnerships that align with organizational goals. ### About the team Our team is dedicated to helping customers create homes they love through stylish, affordable, and functional bath and shower products that deliver quality, value, and inspiration. Collaborating closely with suppliers and cross-functional partners, the team drives category strategy, product innovation, and assortment development across stores and digital. By leveraging data and customer insights, we continuously elevate the customer experience and drive sustainable business growth. ### What you'll do Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories. Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels. Execute customer communication and education programs, ensuring accuracy and quality of product page content. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support category features, modular assortment, and promotional activities. Analyze sales and category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Support item setup, pricing recommendations, and sample management to optimize inventory and merchandising. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners to drive business results. ### What you'll bring Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within a retail or merchandising environment. Strong skills in category strategy development and execution to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in data analysis and business analysis to derive insights and support decision-making processes. Ability to manage purchase orders, resolve supplier issues, and support item setup for stores and online channels. Experience collaborating cross-functionally to implement merchandising plans and promotional activities. Aptitude for leveraging digital tools to enhance category performance and reporting accuracy. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
