No matter the role or the location across the country, every member of the Vulcan team lives through the Vulcan Way: doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time. ### What You’ll Do The Sales Service Representative's essential responsibilities include: Managing an assigned geographical sales area for Vulcan Materials in the I95 area, Springfield to Spotsylvania markets. Managing customer relationships at the job site level Coordinating and attending Pre-Construction meetings Identify, track, and communicate project leads to the SSC (Sales Service Center) for follow-up, market intelligence, quote creation, and pricing. - Provide job site service and first-line technical support, including quality control, safety, and environmental oversight - Manage key project elements, including correspondence, schedules, specifications, testing, and statistical analysis of service and product performance - Prepare, manage, and support the generation of submittals & revisions Jobsite promotion of Vulcan RMC value-added products, including specialty chemicals, fibers, and color concrete. Intelligence gathering for CRM, including project leads, GC, subcontractor, and supplier awards. ## Responsibilities ### Skills You’ll Need: Education. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) is preferred. Experience. 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically within Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC), aggregates, or heavy building materials, is preferred. ### Technical Knowledge Familiarity with concrete mix designs, ASTM testing standards, and quality control processes. ### What You’ll Like About Us Great Company Culture. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
