This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience and develop a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting. ### Responsibilities & Duties Including but not limited to the following: - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts - Support the budgeting and forecasting process. - Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. - Process financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. - Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and schedules. - Analyse financial data and prepare management reports. - Monitor expenses and support cost-control initiatives. - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. - Participate in financial projects and process improvement initiatives. - Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. - Support senior finance staff with ad hoc reporting and analysis - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics is an advantage. - Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends. ### Key interfaces Relationships with key stakeholders - Finance Business Partners - Commercial Team Person Specification Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduate (0-2 years of experience). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organisational and time-management skills. - Willingness to learn and develop professionally. - High ethical standards and integrity. Desirable criteria ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or studying towards).
