[Apply on Vertiv Holdings’s careers site →](https://egup.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX/job/20284316) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Vertiv Holdings](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/vertiv-holdings/) / Incoming Material Quality Inspector ## Job description ### POSITION SUMMARY Detail-oriented Incoming Inspection Technician to perform quality control inspections on incoming materials, components, and products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. ### RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect incoming materials, parts, and products using various measurement tools and testing equipment Verify that received items match purchase order specifications Document inspection results and maintain accurate records Perform & maintain First Article Inspection Reports Identify and report quality issues or defects Label and segregate non-conforming materials Enter inspection data into quality management systems Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve quality issues Follow established quality procedures and safety protocols ### QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience in quality control or inspection - Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Basic computer skills and experience with quality management software - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good written and verbal communication skills Physical ability to handle materials and stand for extended periods ### EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent in electrical or mechanical field; technical certification preferred Preferred: associate's degree in quality technology or related field, ISO 9001 knowledge, experience with statistical process control (SPC), familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, IPC Industry Standards knowledge PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS No Special Physical Requirements TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED Less than 10% The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. ### OUR CORE PRINCIPALS Safety.
