This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a modern, data-driven SAM program focused on operational excellence, responsible AI adoption, cloud governance, and automation. ## Responsibilities Maintain accurate software entitlement, contract, purchase, subscription, installation, allocation, and usage records in ServiceNow SAM Pro and related systems; investigate and resolve data discrepancies. Perform license reconciliation and compliance analysis, maintain supporting evidence, and assist with audit and remediation activities. Analyze inventory and usage data to identify optimization opportunities and coordinate license reclamation, reassignment, or termination. Track renewals, costs, quantities, contract terms, and milestones; validate purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and proof of entitlement. Manage software requests and support onboarding of new products, including approvals, catalog, licensing, fulfillment, governance, and record completion. Prepare operational reports and metrics on usage, spend, renewals, compliance, data quality, and savings opportunities. Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, Security, Legal, application owners, business stakeholders, resellers, and vendors throughout the software lifecycle. Develop and maintain SAM processes, SOPs, process maps, controls, and knowledge materials; identify opportunities to improve data quality, standardize work, and automate repeatable activities. ## Qualifications Two or more years of experience in software asset management, IT asset management, software procurement, licensing, or a related discipline. Experience maintaining and reconciling software entitlement, inventory, contract, purchase, subscription, or usage data. Working knowledge of software licensing agreements and models, including SaaS, open-source software, enterprise agreements, subscriptions, perpetual licenses, and consumption-based licensing. Experience with a software asset management or IT service management platform. Proficiency with modern productivity, reporting, and automation tools; experience using generative AI or Microsoft 365 Copilot responsibly to analyze information, summarize findings, create documentation, and improve repeatable workflows. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities, collaborate across teams, and deliver work with limited supervision. ### Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, finance, or a related field. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro or a comparable platform such as Flexera or Snow Software. Experience with software procurement, renewals, discovery, license reclamation, compliance reviews, or effective-license-position analysis. Experience writing and maintaining processes, procedures, SOPs, workflow documentation, process maps, and knowledge articles. Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, including consumption, subscription, usage, cost, security, and governance concepts relevant to software asset management.
