This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF), as well as working with varied and diverse team members. ### Duties & Responsibilities Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation - Consult with customer management and operations teams with confidence - Mentor and train new FSR’s on site, and coordinate coverage and work for team members in collaboration with the manager. ### May assist with contractor contact and support - Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements - Conduct maintenance and calibration activities for on site equipment - Review customer plant installations and compare against Water Tech reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.) - Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed, often the first point of contact for customer concerns and troubleshooting - Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts - Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications - Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system; serve as a reference and point of contact.
