The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. This role... ### Summary The Materials Coordinator is a key member of the site organization responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, tracking, movement, and issuance of materials supporting construction activities. This role ensures materials are properly documented, preserved, stored safely, and made available to the right teams at the right time. This is a contract position located in Port Allen, LA. General Description ### Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate the receipt, inspection, documentation, and storage of inbound materials, equipment, and spare parts. Verify quantities, descriptions, and specifications against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading. Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, tagged, and transacted accurately. Monitor loading, unloading, staging, transfer, and delivery of materials to warehouse, yard and construction teams. Maintain accurate inventory records for receipts, issues, transfers, returns and material shorts. Maintain accurate documentation for material transactions including receiving reports and inspection records. Support picking, expediting, and tracking of critical materials required for work execution. Monitor warehouse and yard storage locations to promote good housekeeping and efficient workflow. Support preservation requirements for long‑lead, sensitive, or critical equipment and materials. Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and proper material handling practices. Ensure companies BIC (build it clean) procedure is implemented and adhered to during material storage, fabrication and module assembly. ### Qualifications Required experience Minimum 10 years of experience in materials coordination, warehouse operations, or inventory control. Experience in industrial, energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, logistics, or LNG environments preferred. Working knowledge of warehouse management practices including receiving, transfers and issuing. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and system discipline. Strong teamwork and communication skills with ability to coordinate across functions. Demonstrated commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and industrial plant environments. ### Required Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, military logistics background, or technical training in supply chain, warehouse operations, or related field preferred. Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
