This position will support the day-to-day operational accounting activities for our LNG facilities and pipeline assets and will be based o... ### Summary We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. This position will support the day-to-day operational accounting activities for our LNG facilities and pipeline assets and will be based onsite at our Cameron Parish LNG facilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong operational support. General Description ### Duties & Responsibilities Support operational accounting processes related to the Company’s Calcasieu Pass LNG facility and TransCameron Pipeline operations, including: Commodities and warehouse inventory accounting Maintenance and operations cost reporting Safeguarding of facility assets Prepare, calculate, and record monthly accruals, journal entries, and adjusting entries within the SAP ERP system. Serve as the Accounting lead for inventory safeguarding activities and cycle count processes. Act as the onsite Accounting lead for capital projects and related fixed asset accounting activities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses and reporting packages. Complete monthly account reconciliations, investigate variances, and submit reconciliations. Coordinate with the Corporate Accounting team to ensure operational activity is accurately recorded, reconciled, reviewed, and reported in accordance with monthly, quarterly, and annual close timelines. Partner with the FP&A team to support monthly operational reporting, KPI analysis, forecasting support, and ad hoc projects. Collaborate with onsite Accounting teams supporting CP2 and Plaquemines facilities to ensure consistent accounting treatment and compliance with company policies and procedures. Build and maintain strong working relationships with onsite stakeholders, including Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, and Operations personnel. Support system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and automation efforts designed to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. ### Required Experience CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification preferred Experience with SAP and/or other large ERP systems preferred - Knowledge of construction project accounting and fixed asset accounting concepts preferred - Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting processes, and financial reporting principles - Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to interpret and analyze vendor agreements and operational data ### Preferred Experience 3+ years of accounting experience required; operational, manufacturing, energy, or industrial accounting experience is a plus ### Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Licensing & Certifications Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
