Processes instruments and equipment using steam, gas and chemicals. Decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing medical and surgical instruments. Prefer an LVN, C.M.A. or related field. ### Special Skills, Knowledge At least two years of experience in a health care facility preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Familiar with basic medical terminology. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. ### Education High School diploma or equivalency, basic understanding/working knowledge of aseptic technique, able to work independently required.
