Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. It's these experiences that solidify your dedication to helping others. ### SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practive and hospital policy, goals and objectives. ### ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice - Monitor that staff are implementing policies and procedures and act as a resource to the staff - Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient acuity and staffing grid Continually evaluate the activities, morale and interpersonal relationships of the program staff and promote methods to improve these areas - Assist in providing supervision and direction in accordance with Nursing Department's goals and objectives to all nursing staff and conducts disciplinary actions where indicated. ### Qualifications Requirements: Education: RN License Required South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi-state license with South Carolina included in the compact is also acceptable. ### Experience A minimum of one to three (1-3) years experience required, prefer experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. ### Work Hours Night shift: 7:00pm-7:30am Machines, Tools, & Equipment Telephone, Shower/Bath, Audio-visual equipment, EKG machine, Thermometer, Refrigerator, Radio, Blood Pressure Cuff, Vitals machine, Housekeeping and supplies, Copy Machine, Physical Restraints, First Aid items, and Shredder About Universal Health Services One of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
