This exceptional opportunity offers a highly competitive compensation package and the unique advantage of stepping into an immediate, high-volume patient base within the rapidly growing Rio Grande Valley. ### Quick Facts Employment Type Full-Time, Permanent Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical and surgical hours Call: Option for call, shared equitably with the existing orthopedic surgery team Patient Volume: Immediate, high-volume caseload from day one Location: Edinburg, Texas (Rio Grande Valley) ### Practice Setting Established private practice orthopedic group Support / Care Team: Comprehensive multidisciplinary team, including dedicated practice development and marketing support EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR, state-of-the-art orthopedic technology, including surgical navigation systems. ### Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Deliver comprehensive upper extremity care—including hand, wrist, and forearm trauma, fracture management, and joint reconstruction—across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical environments. ### Collaboration Partner effectively with a skilled team of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and robust administrative support staff. ### Call Management Option to participate in the shared call schedule to ensure seamless, continuous patient care. ### Compensation & Benefits Earnings Highly competitive base salary with productivity incentives Incentives: Generous signing bonus and comprehensive relocation assistance Retirement & Equity: 401(k) with company match plus an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) ### Full Benefits Premium health, dental, and vision insurance Qualifications Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) or equivalent. ### Training Successful completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency; fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. ### Licensure Active (or eligible to obtain) ### Texas medical license Languages Spanish language skills are a valuable asset but not required Growth & Development Partnership Track: Clear pathways to physician partnership Professional Subspecialty Focus: Supported avenues for academic involvement and practice development Leadership: Mentorship and leadership opportunities within a comprehensive regional orthopedic program About the Organization & Community The Rio Grande Valley is a vibrant, multicultural, and bilingual region home to over 1.8 million residents.
