Follows the plan of care set by the registered nurse and/or physician, managing the individual needs of the patient with regards to their age and clinical diagnosis. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in the Emergency Department in order to ensure and maintaining smooth patient flow. The E.R. Technician has specialized skills and knowledge in Emergency Care for all patients from infancy through geriatric. ### Qualifications Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements: One year experience in an acute care setting preferred. High School graduate or equivalent required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association CPI is required within 30 days of hire. CA EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant required –OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.
