## Job description

Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced board-certified psychiatrist to lead in the role of medical director for adult inpatient services. Inpatient experience is required. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift position with no call requirement. The region offers a plethora of recreational activities allowing for a professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle while in close proximity to Philadelphia, NYC and beaches of New Jersey.

Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday Call: Per facility rotation Patient Volume: 12 patients per day Location: Fort Washington, Pennsylvania Practice Setting: Free-Standing Behavioral Health Hospital Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary Responsibilities Responsibilities will include admissions, evaluations, treatment planning and daily care of patients. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff.

Located in Fort Washington, PA just outside of Philadelphia, Brooke Glen has been providing psychiatric services for teens and adults in the state for more than 40 years. The free-standing Behavioral Hospital offers individualized, trauma-informed programs that treat the “whole person,” not just the illness they are battling. The adult inpatient program is designed to help adults age 18 and older to stabilize from emotional crisis or symptoms of acute mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues and disorders.
