We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses. The RN Key Responsibilities include: Delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent residents admitted for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders Serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team Supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care Ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident. Must possess knowledge of general and child/adolescent psychiatric nursing, therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors BLS Certification required. Valid SC Driver's License preferred. Thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy & the use of psychotropic medications. One year prior child/adolescent psychiatric experience is strongly preferred.
