Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy. ### Position Overview Role: PRN, on-site patient rounding and overnight telephonic call Patient Population: Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse Schedule: Weekend PRN, PRN vacation weekday coverage (minimum of 1 weekend per month) ### Employment Type PRN for weekends and vacation coverage Daily caseload: caseload will vary EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. ### Position Highlights Fully staffed Medical Staff Services office providing administrative support. Opportunity to work with residents through Georgia South Psychiatric Residency and medical students with PCOM-South Georgia campus. Collegial work environment with other psychiatrists, NPs, PAs, therapists and nurses. ### Flexible schedule Supplement current income Qualifications Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry Training: Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency. Experience with Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis populations required. ### Licensure Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
