Growing together. ### Primary Responsibilities - Design, develop, and enhance features for the ContractHub AI platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability - Build and integrate AI/ML capabilities (e.g., NLP, document processing, clause extraction, contract analytics) into contract workflows - Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., procurement, CRM, legal tools) to enable seamless data flow - Implement workflow automation to streamline contract creation, review, approval, and compliance tracking - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, business, product) to translate requirements into technical solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and high availability - Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, and compliance standards across all implementations - Contribute to code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices to maintain high engineering standards Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-driven solutions Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 3+ years of experience in software development, with solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design Hands-on experience with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, or similar) and RESTful APIs Experience working with enterprise integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred) Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies Exposure to AI/ML concepts, especially NLP, document processing, or generative AI use cases Understanding of secure coding practices, data privacy, and enterprise security standards - Demonstrated solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Proven excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (business, legal, product) ### Preferred Qualification Familiarity with workflow automation tools and data processing pipelines At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
