Growing together. ### Position Highlights The APC will work collaboratively with the supervising physician to manage various conditions related to kidney disorders such as, but not limited to, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and electrolytes abnormalities in the ambulatory setting. Utilize evidence based medical practices in the delivery of all patient care. Patient education, maintenance of inbasket, timely response to patients' MKO questions. Maintains an attitude of inquiry towards medical practices and patient care outcomes. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style. Masters' Degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner ANCC or AANPCP Certified for Family Nurse Practitioner. or Physician Assistant: NCCPA-Certified. Current prescriptive authority. DEA license BCLS, ACLS certified Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally. At least 1 year nephrology experience preferred Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $113,000 - $173,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
