It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers. ### Job Description - Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for the bank across various segments (e.g., corporate, SME, retail). - Proactively engage with potential clients to understand their financial needs and propose tailored banking solutions. - Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. - Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams, credit, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. - Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients. - Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. - Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives. - Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback. - Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. ### Job Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services industry. - Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of banking products and services (e.g., loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury products). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels. - Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
