This position involves executing daily tasks, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Execute and monitor daily operational activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. - Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Conduct thorough reviews of documents and transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory requirements. - Prepare and analyze reports for management, highlighting key trends, issues, and recommendations. - Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. - Collaborate with various departments to resolve operational issues and improve cross-functional workflows. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. - Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in existing processes and propose mitigation strategies. ### Job Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in an operations or compliance-related role. - Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational processes. - Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. ### Additional Requirements Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
