It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers. ### Job Description Job Summary: The Mortgage Specialist is responsible for originating and processing mortgage applications, providing expert advice to clients on suitable home loan products, and ensuring a seamless and efficient mortgage journey. ### Job Responsibilities - Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage lending opportunities to achieve individual sales targets. - Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis with prospective clients to recommend appropriate mortgage products and solutions offered by UOB Malaysia. - Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, including documentation submission, credit assessment, and legal procedures. - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UOB Malaysia's mortgage products, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., credit, legal, operations) and external partners (e.g., real estate agents, developers) to facilitate smooth mortgage transactions. - Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the mortgage lending landscape. - Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales performance and pipeline activities. - Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines. ### Additional Requirements Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
