## Job description

We are seeking an engineer/researcher to join the CRB desk within UBS Global Markets.

This is a front-office role at the intersection of software engineering, data science, quantitative research, and trading technology. You will work closely with traders, quants, and technology teams to develop and maintain the desk's tooling, analytics platforms, AI capabilities, and systematic infrastructure.

### Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance front-office applications, automation frameworks, and trading support tools.
- Build and manage the desk's AI tooling and contribute to the continued development of the desk’s research platform.
- Apply data science and statistical techniques to improve decision-making, workflow automation, monitoring, and analytics.
- Design, implement, and maintain production-grade software solutions used by the desk on a daily basis.
- Work with large datasets to generate insights, improve operational efficiency, and support research initiatives.
- Develop monitoring, reporting, and operational tooling to support automated trading and market-making systems.
- Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of the desk's technology stack.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and developers to solve challenging business and technical problems.
