## Job description

Are you an advocate of effective risk management and seen as a risk partner by your internal clients? Do you know how to make the right call in challenging situations in an international location? Are you keen to use your risk knowledge and experience to help ensure the sustainable growth of the GWM Brazil?

We’re looking for someone like that who can:
- advice, support and challenge Business Head in managing risk effectively to ensure a solid governance structure and foster a strong risk culture.
- keep abreast of regulatory changes and their impact, and proactively engage with functional partners to ensure that the required controls, policies, standards, processes are implemented to ensure compliance
- provide risk expertise on the GWM operational risk framework, risk assessments, risk governance, and global control and policy frameworks
- provide transparent reporting on risk topics via regular risk updates at the local management committee, risk committee and any additional meeting with front office colleagues in Brazil or Switzerland.
- steer the location to be prepared for audits / control reviews and monitor or lead the remediation of audit-related, Regulatory and self-identified issues.
- lead the design and implementation of controls, policies, standards, processes and coordinate the local implementation to ensure that the location is compliant with regulatory and UBS requirements, where applicable. Explore opportunities to review current processes with a view to increase efficiency and drive innovation forward
- undertake risk-focused controls across business divisions and functions. Investigate in case of incidents, including misconduct in close coordination with other/independent functions
- manage key administrative tasks such as business reporting, progress tracking and ad hoc presentations
- participate actively in initiatives and projects with immediate impact on the business and the regional governance
