The operator will ensure the box maker is keeping up with production demand. This role also manages packaging inventory across all departments, ensuring packaging materials are stocked and available per the production schedule. Communication with the production planner is essential for maintaining material availability and minimizing production delays. Perform changeovers as needed to switch box styles. Continuously monitor and refill the magazine to prevent box shortages. Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance; LOTO certification is required. ### Inventory Management Maintain and manage packaging inventory across all departments, including those not directly using the box-making machine. Monitor the daily production schedule to ensure all materials are prepped and available in advance. Perform weekly and monthly packaging inventory counts. Organize and maintain orderly storage of all packaging supplies and materials. ### Communication & Coordination Communicate inventory needs to the Production Planner in a timely and proactive manner. Collaborate with production to ensure packaging materials are available when needed to avoid downtime. Support the Box Room with additional duties as time allows The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
