Pay range for the position is $28.05- $40.10 / hr. ( based on the skills and experience). There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job. ### POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. ### RESPONSIBILITIES & KNOWLEDGE The Maintenance Generalist will perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, & systems. Must be able to read & understand assignments Must be able to communicate orally & in writing Basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment. May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems. ### REQUIREMENTS Must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months). Must have a minimum 2 years industrial maintenance, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting background documented in the work history section of the application/resume. ### Preferred Vocational or College Education in Industrial Maintenance. Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance and willingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. ### Relocation Assistance Eligible No Work Shift: B Shift (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
