This role applies data architecture principles to build data pipelines, dimensional models, and reporting solutions using Tyson-approved platforms and patterns. Their skill set includes developing in big data technologies and enhancing their theoretical knowledge of data warehousing in an analytics environment. ### Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Scripting, and Tyson-approved data engineering frameworks. Develop and maintain ELT/ETL processes utilizing Cloud Platform services. Build and support enterprise data warehouse solutions following Tyson dimensional modeling standards, including Star Schema and Kimball methodologies. Develop and optimize data models, views, stored procedures, and transformations to improve data performance and usability. Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Build, deploy, and support data visualization solutions that effectively communicate data insights. Optimize cloud resource utilization and participate in cost management initiatives. Contribute to data architecture reviews and recommend improvements to data structures, integration patterns, and reporting solutions. Assist with streaming, near real-time, and batch data integration initiatives where applicable. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business value through data solutions. Perform other assigned duties consistent with Tyson Foods' mission, values, and business objectives. ### Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. ### Education Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience. ### Preferred Certification(s) Any relevant IT Certification. ### Experience 1+ years relevant or practical experience. ### Technical Skills Strong SQL development and query optimization skills. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and basic data architecture. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD deployment practices. Understanding of DataHub-to-Analytics data movement patterns and enterprise integration concepts. ### Soft Skills Initiative Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance, and business insights. ### Teamwork Partner effectively with business, analytics, and IT teams. ### Communication Translate technical concepts into actionable business recommendations. ### Critical Thinking Analyze complex data problems and recommend scalable solutions. ### Adaptability Quickly learn evolving Tyson platforms, technologies, and business processes. ### Time Management Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment. ### Attention to Detail Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets. ### Relocation Assistance Eligible No Work Shift: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
