Working Conditions ### Environment - Normal for a food manufacturing setting. ### Physical Requirements - Involves lifting materials and products up to 75 pounds. ### Safety Equipment - Use of steel-toed work boots, hardhats, safety glasses (where required), hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks is required. ### Restrictions - Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor. ### Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED. ### Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience. ### Communication Skills Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. ### Special Skills - Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork. - Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce. - Good problem identification and problem-solving skills. - Math and organizational skills. - Ability to read and interpret product specifications. - Must function well under stress. - Must have flexibility to work where and when needed. ### Physical Requirements - Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs - Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day - Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit - Must be able to work in wet environment - Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling - Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently - Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs - Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed - Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
