The Senior Systems Engineer will lead the architecture, integration, and full lifecycle development of complex technical systems for aerospace applications while working alongside cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. ### What You Will Do Interface with customers to understand high-level operational goals, conceptual designs, and requirements to generate system requirements - Lead full product lifecycle development from requirements and design to integration, qualification, and field deployment - Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems - Develop system and subsystem architectures, defining boundaries and evaluating design trade-offs - Translate system requirements into hardware and software requirements - Direct cross-functional Engineering teams (Software, Mechanical, and Electrical) by delegating tasks to achieve technical objectives and resolving conflicts real time. - Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies ### Qualifications You Must Have - Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum - 5 years of experience Experience with requirements management tools like DOORs, Polarion, or similar - Must be a U.S. Citizen This position is for an on-site role in Vergennes, VT Qualifications We Prefer Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML and Simulink toolsets Familiarity with industry standards ARP4754, DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4761 or similar Compensation & Benefits We believe great work deserves great support.
