[Apply on Textron’s careers site →](https://careers.textron.com/jobs/DEE7112791A144938AAF1539D553466F/job/) [OpenNash Jobs](https://jobs.opennash.com/) / [Textron](https://jobs.opennash.com/companies/textron/) / 2027 Associate Strategic Sourcing Specialist ## Job description 2027 Associate Strategic Sourcing Specialist Description Responsibilities: - Maintain supplier relationships for assigned groups and act as primary point of contact for all communications\. - Support efforts to identify and implement supplier cost reductions\. - Assist in the selection and management of new and current suppliers\. - Support materials and quality teams to address supplier delivery and quality issues\. - Source materials for new product launches and product model changes\. - Support the supplier transition process by allocating work from an external supplier to in house production or vice versa, as needed\. - Coordinate request for quote packages with supply base to ensure premium pricing for materials\. - Manage materials projects by using problem solving techniques, data from factory information system, and lean manufacturing concepts\. - Contribute to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone feels heard and understood, empowered, and valued\. ### Why Build Your Career at Textron Textron offers a supportive workplace where employees are encouraged to grow, contribute, and innovate\. Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI\-generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards\.
