Your success is our success\. ### Description Job Summary: To grind a wide variety of production aircraft parts using CNC machinery\. May be required to work with higher grade Machinists while in training\. ### Job Responsibilities - Setup, adjust and operate CNC grinding machines to perform a wide variety of difficult close tolerance internal and/or external single and multiple grinding operations according to general operation methods\. - Works from blueprints, shop routers, oral and written instructions to achieve high degree surface finish and tolerance requirements for grinding parts\. - Mount and balance grinding wheel\. - Dress grinding wheel manually and automatically\. - Setup and adjust horizontal feeds, speed of part rotation, wheel speed and table travel stops\. - Selects drive dogs, collets and chucks\. - Mounts parts to proper index as required\. Adjusts lubricating coolant flow\. - Responsible only for own work\. - Performs other related duties as required\. ### Qualifications Education: Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification AND a vocational certificate / diploma related to CNC machining\. ### Experience No experience required but must possess the vocational certificate/diploma outlined in education\. _Textron Aviation Inc\. must comply with U\.S export control laws and regulations\.
