Description ### JOB SUMMARY Performs a number of duties to trim, fill, sand and bond to prepare a variety of standard composite parts in accordance with shop orders, oral and written instructions and blueprints\. ### JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures composite assemblies meet bonding cure specifications\. Hand Trim composite panels ensuring they meet quality requirements and engineering dimensions\. Prepares composite surfaces by filling and sanding to a smooth surface\. Uses small hand tools, sanders, drills, routers, adhesive applicators, calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments\. Responsible only for own work\. Performs other related duties as required\. Qualifications ### EDUCATION Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class is preferred\. ### EXPERIENCE 6 months of composites experience required\. ### WORKING CONDITIONS Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids\.
