Whether you want stability, flexibility, or a chance to grow your career, this role could be a great fit. Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply. Please note that you need to be 18 or over to apply for this role. Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store. Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries. Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best. Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence. Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change. Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service. Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day. To be over 18 for this role. Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.  Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met. Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment. A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
