The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist will at times assist in the implementation, support, and optimization of the EMR and other clinical systems. ### Responsibilities The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist is responsible for purposeful hospital rounding; providing direct support to providers and nurses to ensure end users successfully integrate the EMR into clinical workflow. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist ensures consistent and effective use of the EMR that aligns with policy, procedure, and standards. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist may at times create education content to communicate and educate providers and clinicians in EMR changes, initiatives, and projects. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist regularly provides suggestions and seeks feedback from physicians and clinicians regarding the EMR communicating such information to the Market Clinical Informatics Director. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist collaborates with the Market Clinical Informatics Director to improve physician and clinicians’ satisfaction with the EMR, promote “voice of the customer” and improve IS service and support. ### Qualifications Required: High School Diploma Preferred: - 3 years of experience in clinical hospital setting - Ability to develop, maintain and collaborate with clinicians - Ability to problem-solving and resolve conflict - Understands clinical workflow and has the skill set to integrate technology into clinical practice - Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills required - Must serve as a model of credibility, professionalism, and customer service #LI-NO1 Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
