The available plans and programs include: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match Generous paid time off Career development and continuing education opportunities Health savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance program, Employee discount program Voluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long term care, elder & childcare, auto & home insurance Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status ### Job Summary Job Shift: Day Job Type: Per Diem The Certified Surgical Tech demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role, necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department. ### Responsibilities The Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures; pulling cases as needed, breaking down cases at the end of the procedure, sets up operating room and supplies needed for day/following day’s schedule. Available for call on an assigned scheduled basis as required by unit need. Perform other duties as assigned. ### Qualifications Education: Required: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program. ### Preferred Associate degree. ### Experience Preferred: 1 year. ### Certifications Required: AHA BLS.
