You'll practice in a fully outpatient environment with a predictable schedule and no overnight call burden, giving you the work-life balance to truly invest in your patients and your community. Backed by a comprehensive stroke center, ECMO capabilities, and advanced neurological infrastructure, you'll have the resources to deliver exceptional care from day one. This is an opportunity to build a meaningful practice in a supportive system that's deeply rooted in the Central Valley. ### Position Highlights Specialty Outpatient Neurology Employment Type: Full-time, employed position Practice Setting: 100% outpatient, community-based Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per clinic day Call Coverage: Provided in-house via Neuro Tele Service — no traditional call burden Hospital System: Part of Tenet Health, a nationally recognized healthcare network Facility Highlights: Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Center, and dedicated Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) ### What We Offer Compensation: $274,416–$400,838 annually, determined by qualifications, experience, and productivity Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree required Board eligible or board certified in Neurology California licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of California Why Modesto Situated halfway between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park, Modesto offers an enviable quality of life at a fraction of the cost of California's major metros. Organization Description Doctors Medical Center (DMC), part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System, is the largest full-care hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a 394-bed general acute care and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. DMC is known for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency care. Doctors Medical Center offers a wide range of services including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and trauma services, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, women and childrens services, medical/surgical, behavioral health, oncology and critical/intensive care.
