Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. ### Responsibilities Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets; directs daily operations of assigned departments; directs staff; achieves ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies; selects personnel for hire and promotion; takes appropriate actions regarding counseling, disciplinary actions, demotion and termination; develops and implements quality assurance programs for department. ### Qualifications Education: Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program. Associate in respiratory care or health science; Preferred: Bachelor's in Health Care Management Experience: Required: 2 years respiratory care and 2 years managerial experience Certifications: Required: RCP or equivalent State licensure; RRT, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Organization Description The Hospitals of Providence have faithfully been serving our community since 1902.
