As part of Tenet Healthcare, you'll join a well-resourced, growing Cardiology group backed by state-of-the-art EP technology and a collaborative team environment. This is a rare opportunity to build a high-impact EP practice with the infrastructure, equipment, and support to do your best work — without the grind of heavy call. Modesto offers the professional depth of a major medical center with the livability and affordability that larger metros simply can't match. ### Position Highlights Specialty Electrophysiology within an established, growing Cardiology group Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; split between clinic and procedure days Call: Minimal — only 2–3 days per month, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekend call Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per clinic day Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Facilities: 5 Cath Labs, 1 dedicated EP Lab equipped with the 2022 FDA-approved Insight X System and Medtronic Cryoablation system Hospital Capabilities: STEMI Center, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, ECMO, 4 ICUs (44 beds total), 3 Xi Da Vinci robotic systems, and a Hybrid OR Employer: Tenet Healthcare — a nationally recognized health system ### What We Offer Compensation: $551,400–$852,000 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and productivity Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree required Board eligible or board certified in Electrophysiology California licensed or eligible to obtain California licensure Why Modesto Modesto sits at the crossroads of California's best — halfway between San Francisco and Yosemite, with easy access to Sacramento, the Sierra Nevada, and the Bay Area, yet offering a cost of living and pace of life that larger cities can't compete with. Organization Description Doctors Medical Center (DMC), part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System, is the largest full-care hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a 394-bed general acute care and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. DMC is known for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency care. Doctors Medical Center offers a wide range of services including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and trauma services, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, women and childrens services, medical/surgical, behavioral health, oncology and critical/intensive care.
