He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager performs the duties of staff nurse as needed to support the nursing team. ### Qualifications EDUCATION: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Preferred: BSN EXPERIENCE: Minimum Four (4) years as a staff nurse. Previous charge nurse experience preferred. ### REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG, Critical Care Course TNCC within one year. Optional for TSD PALS ENPC. Optional for TICU and TSD CCRN Preferred for TICU PCCN Preferred for TISD CEN or TCRN preferred for ED Resus Organization Description Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees, 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. As both a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers several specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular facilities, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery. Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida.
