If you're looking for a place where your work carries real weight and your quality of life is protected, this is it. ### Position Highlights Specialty Daytime Hospitalist — full-time, employed position at St. ### Joseph's Hospital, Tucson, AZ Schedule Shift-based block scheduling — 7 on / 7 off with some flexibility built in for work-life balance Shift Coverage: 1 swing shift and 1 nocturnist on rotation Team Support: Two APPs during day shifts, one APP overnight Patient Volume: Average daily census of 18 patients with 1–2 admissions per shift ICU Model: Closed ICU — Intensivist and IV Team provide procedure support Teaching Opportunity: Optional involvement in teaching internal medicine residents Language Bonus: Spanish-speaking skills a plus, but not required ### What We Offer Competitive base compensation CME allowance and professional expense reimbursement Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance Long-term disability coverage 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree Board eligible or board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Arizona Why Tucson Tucson is a city that rewards those who choose it — offering an exceptional quality of life at a cost of living that lets your income go further than in most major metros. Organization Description Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
