Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. ### RESPONSIBILITIES Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by the therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; assures appropriate equipment performance before each use. ### QUALIFICATIONS Education: Required: Associate of Physical Therapy Assistant, Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training, or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program is acceptable Experience: Preferred: 1 year experience Certifications: Required: State License. AHA BLS. ### Physical Demands Organization Description Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 yearswith a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines at the hospital include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery.
