Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. ### Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification. ### PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified GI Lab SGNA Board eligible/certified REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS - required for all areas-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network ACLS required for all areas in Surgery Services and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit PALS- required for Post Anesthesia and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit #LI-GF2 Organization Description Resolute Baptist Hospital offers a full range of comprehensive healthcare, including emergency services, cardiology and cardiovascular care, orthopedics, primary care, rehabilitation services, Womens Health, Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics, Neonatal and the areas only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
