Responsible for the supervision and operation of the laboratory if so requested by the laboratory manager and performs any other task necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the department and the hospital. ### Qualifications Education: Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or an Associate Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent education/clinical work experience. ### Experience Minimum Experience: Previous experience as a medical technologist/technician preferred. Clinical rotation experience will be considered for students who have pending graduation date. ### Certifications Required Certification: Certification by the Board of Registry (ASCP), NCA, AMT or certification accepted by the STATE DOH as an MT/MLT required. #LI-AP1 Organization Description Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 yearswith a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment.
