Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives. ### Responsibilities Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. ### Qualifications Special Skill: Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices. ### Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED or a valid CNA or PCA/PCT Certificate EKG training in selected units. ### Certifications/Licensure CPR Preferred Requirements: Experience: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting. CNA/LNA from the Arizona State Board of Nursing #LI-BV1 Organization Description Abrazo West Campus is recognized for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in West Valley communities.
